| In October 2004, Dozer was
diagnosed with HemangioSarcoma
of the Spleen. Dozer weathered the removal of his spleen very well and is
very bouncy and active, so I decided to give chemotherapy treatment a chance.
He had all five chemo treatment, the final one on January 19th. This chemo
is will not cure the cancer like it does in humans, rather it will prolong
his life. His quality of life is fantastic - he is very active, eats
an occasional cheeseburger, goes on daily walks and long off-leash walks
in the woods on the weekends. He does not know he has cancer and is in great
spirits! |
